Preparation:
- Mask off the surrounding area to protect surrounding surfaces from any product or splatters.
- Wear personal protective equipment like glasses and gloves.
- Clean the surface from any dirt, debris, etc with a pH-neutral cleaner like MB-5 or Easy Oxy.
Step 1:
- Attach the adapter to a variable-speed grinder/polisher or hand drill.
- Use the supplied 5-inch snail lock adapter to attach the pad driver.
- Place the hogs hair pad on the driver. Either side up is fine.
Step 2:
- Add a teaspoon of the Granite Polishing Cream and a tablespoon of water to the surface.
- Concentrate the product in a 2 square foot area.
- Place the drill’s hogs hair pad directly on top of the product.
Step 3:
- Begin polishing the surface by applying a slight firm pressure to the polishing cream with the drill.
- Spread it out gradually on a slow speed.
- As the product begins to dry out, increase the speed and reduce the pressure.
- Different speeds and pressure may be needed depending on the stone.
- Review your results and repeat as necessary.
Step 4:
- If you notice swirls or other marks made by the polish, replace the hogs hair pad with a white pad and add a spritz of water on the surface.
- Polish the area again starting with a slow speed gradually increasing to a higher speed.

1. Prep Surfaces
Before you begin, you should always check that surfaces, where the product might be splattered are masked off and covered. Put on gloves and safety glasses to protect your hands and eyes. Make sure there are no coatings, waxes, sealants, grease, or other contaminants on the granite surface.
2. Attach the Adapter To a Variable Speed Grinder or Polisher
Use a right-angle polisher or grinder with variable speed with the supplied 5-inch snail lock adapter and hogs hair pad to get the best possible results.
3. Add a Teaspoon of the Granite Polish Cream and a Tablespoon of Water to the Surface
Start by concentrating on a two-square-foot area. In this area to be polished, add a teaspoon of the product plus a tablespoon of water. After that, place the drill’s hog hair pad directly on top of the product.
4. Polish the Surface
Apply pressure to the polishing cream while spreading it out gradually and manipulating the trigger to dry it out. Increase the speed and reduce the pressure when the polish is almost dry. There shouldn’t be any splatters.
Pull the trigger as quickly as possible, run the product dry, and quickly move the drill over the desired region. Depending on the stone, different pressures will need to be used. Review the results and repeat as necessary.
5. Dealing with Marks or Swirls
Suppose you notice marks or swirls. In that case, you can use a white pad and a spray of water, and they’ll come right out. Change the amount of the product you’re using and continue to polish the countertop.
